Principal Financial Group is a global financial investment management and insurance company that was in need of an ETF portfolio (Exchange Traded Fund) website designed for both individual investors and hardcore finance professionals. My team built a site consistent with the Principal ethos that successfully elevated its brand presence by providing a UX delivering simplicity, speed and agility. Ultimately securing users the power to easily navigate and process large amounts of information, that with competitors would normally be deemed rough and overly complex, in a manageable way. Saving time, stress and money without compromising the signature integrity of the brand.
My team along with the tech team at Principal made essential modifications that allowed for true real-time data to be fed into the site seamlessly. Leveraging the client supplied API, the frontend was thoughtfully mapped by the best responsive practices while the backend leveraged the versatility and power of Drupal 8's CMS that allowed the Principal team to continue to maintain non-sensitive data with utmost ease without sacrificing security.
